The Grand Junction Regional Airport has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. The Airport has received Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the Grand Junction Regional Airport has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.
The Grand Junction Regional Airport hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 2.1% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2025 through 2027 (10/1/2024 - 9/30/2027). A consultation was held via teleconference on September 9th, 2024, at 1:00 pm for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process.
The DBE program, proposed goal, and its rationale are available for inspection by appointment during normal business hours at 2828 Walker Field Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506, for 30 days following the date of this notice. The Grand Junction Regional Airport and the DOT will accept comments on the goals for 30 days from the date of this notice.
Appointments can be made and comments can be sent to the Owner/Airport, ATTN: Mr. Cameron Reece, Contract Administrator, 2828 Walker Field Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506. The Airport will begin using the overall goal at the end of the comment period, unless we have received other instructions from the DOT.
