IFB - Passenger Boarding Bridge Improvements

The Project consists of the replacement of the passenger boarding bridge (PBB) at Gate 4 and the replacement and relocation of the bridge located at Gate 3 to a revised location at Gate 2. At Gate 3, a new stair and accessible ramp to be built at the existing opening. The two bridges that are planned to be replaced were installed in the spring of 2004 as part of a hold room expansion project. In addition to the age of the bridges, they were manufactured by Dew Engineering and Development Limited who is no longer producing passenger loading bridges. The bridge layouts are also adjusted to accommodate more aircraft types for flexibility at the airport. See Project Manual for more details on BidNetdirect.com

What Our Flyers Say

I have flown out of LAX, PDX and Ohare. I have flown out of Mesa AZ, Montrose. But the Walker field is the bomb, Ooops. Can't say bomb. I love this airport for its convenience and hometown feel. The staff here are a friendly bunch, Unlike larger airports where everybody is grumpy, mean and nasty.
